New Paradigm College is pleased to announce an open house for the Lake County Community is scheduled for Saturday June 8, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m in the main lobby of the Lucerne "Castle" - 3700 Country Club Drive, Lucerne, CA 95458.

The event is open to the public. Participants will have an opportunity to:

Learn about upcoming events and plans (at 3 p.m.)
Celebrate the re-opening of the Castle
Get a Tour of the Castle
Share ideas
Meet your neighbors
Learn ways to get involved!

Refreshments will be Served

Note: Parking is limited near the main entrance. Help will be provided for those who need help with transportation up the hill.

New Paradigm College Announces Open House on June 8, 2019

LUCERNE, CALIFORNIA, May 23, 2019 – New Paradigm College (“NPC”) announced today an Open House to be held at “The Lucerne Castle” main lobby, 3700 Country Club Drive, Lucerne, CA on Saturday June 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm. The event will run from 2- 4 pm.

“Our founding team is excited to celebrate the reopening of the Lucerne Castle as New Paradigm College,” said Daniel Sheehan, President of NPC. “Opening our doors to local events is a big step.” The Lake County landmark was originally constructed and opened as a hotel in the 1920s and is now owned by Earthways Foundation and operated by New Paradigm College, a local nonprofit corporation formed to work with the community to bring higher education and uplifting cultural projects, conferences and special events to Lake County.

“We look forward to sharing our progress and drawing on the wisdom and support of the community as we prepare the facility for classes and programs,” said Denise Rushing, an NPC Co-Founder. Sheehan, Rushing, and William Stranger, established New Paradigm College as a nonprofit to both operate the facility and implement the plan originally presented to Lake County in 2018, Rushing added: “We have begin the joy of regenerating this very special place… together with the community. It’s exciting to be a part of this renewal.”
