LUCERNE, CALIFORNIA, September 26, 2019 – New Paradigm College (“NPC”) announced today its “Founders 2020” peer-to-peer crowdfunding campaign where all donations up to the campaign goal will be matched by a grant from a major donor.
“We are creating New Paradigm College unlike any college has ever been started before--with a broad community of those who want to help grow it.” said Denise Rushing, co-founder and Executive Director of New Paradigm College. “That is why we are announcing the launch of our own crowdfunding initiative. Rather than turn to big Wall Street bank loans for seed funding, we are turning to those who care about local economy, and Lake County specifically, through the use of a tool that will allow anyone in our community to participate in bringing this vision to life. Everyone can become a founding contributor.”
In partnership with the Lake County community, NPC provides education in “new paradigm” design tools: focusing first on the ecological regeneration of local forests and wetlands. Adult students both within and outside the county have the opportunity to learn and help regenerate the ecosystems surrounding Clear Lake. Ecosystem regeneration is a key focus of the College, who is also spearheading related community projects open to all. New Paradigm College’s mission is to bring this regenerative education to those who want to make this kind of difference in these times.
NPC is seeking to raise $200,000 in seed funding before November 15, 2019 from two thousand and twenty individual donors--or “2020 before 2020”. The “Founders 2020” campaign runs between now and November 15, 2019.
